Mentari Group, through the Mentari Teachers Academy, presents the 100 Day Teacher Transformation Program as a tangible form of addressing teachers’ professional development needs. Through this program, teachers will experience a process of growth through: 100 days of competency and character building; one semester teaching internship program in international schools (SPK); as well as career opportunities in international schools (SPK) or national plus schools. Mentari Teachers Academy supports the success of teachers to grow by compiling program modules based on UU no. 14 (2005) regarding National Teacher Competency Standards, international standards that refer to PISA results, and 21st century skills.
This program, which is aimed at teachers and also prospective teachers, will provide the following benefits.
- Become a teacher with high competence, who is skillful, and has good character.
- Significantly improve English proficiency.
- Improve skills and confidence in teaching English, as well as maths and science content in English.
- Obtain official bond scholarships at private schools.
- Obtain references and teaching priorities at international and national plus schools.
To obtain these benefits, teachers or prospective teachers can invest in this program in two ways, namely the independent pathway or the achievement pathway. The independent pathway can be done with full payment, instalments, and a student loan. The achievement pathway is carried out with 100% of costs being covered by scholarships and sponsorships.
The first batch class has started online on November 11, 2020. The sessions are conducted Monday to Friday with 2 topics per day (2 hours per topic) from 15.00-17.00 and 20.00-22.00 WIB. The next new class will open on March 1, 2021.
