The Egrang game is one of Indonesia’s traditional games and is recorded in the Javanese Kinder Spellen book, compiled by a child observer during the Dutch colonial era. Some sources say that this game comes from Lampung with the name Terompang Pancung, which means long round bamboo. However, these stilts can not only be found in Lampung but also in several other areas in Indonesia.
