The Minister of Education and Culture, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, has launched a number of new policies, one of which is the Merdeka Belajar Program. This program was initiated as the first step to take a leap into the field of education. The aim is none other than to influence a mass group of agents of change in order to transform the mindset towards education.

With these experiences, Mentari Group together with ASTA Ilmu Sukses held ASTA DAY 2020 on February 29, 2020.
ASTA DAY 2020 was an education conference that brought together teachers and educators in Indonesia with experts in education and teaching. The conference was attended by 500 teachers, educators, and the general public from 12 cities in Indonesia, who care about education in the country. The meeting occurred in the form of training sessions with a variety of subjects to help teachers and educators be able to apply teaching-learning processes that focus on managing learning media that supports skills, strengthens the character, and improves student competence.
Located at Ciputra Hotel, Letjen S. Parman Street, West Jakarta, the ASTA DAY 2020 conference presented 11 experienced speakers from the world of education. Three of the six parallel sessions could also be enjoyed by live streaming by registering in advance at https://hadiryuk.id/astaday.

Photo contests added excitement to the ASTA DAY conference. Many teachers took photos during ASTA Day activities, including in the training rooms, or at the photo booth with the theme of Menjadi Indonesia Literacy Programme #LiteracyBuildstheNation, then uploaded them to social media. The winner of this photo contest was determined based on the results of evaluation conducted by our Mentari Group team and was announced via IG @mentarigroups a few days after the ASTA Day event was held.
